Title: Death Wish Author: K. Webster Genre: Contemporary Reverse Harem Romance
All I wanted is for my little sister Della to be safe and happy. And maybe, in brief stolen moments, I dreamed of a happy ending for myself with a brown-eyed man. That hope has turned into sharp, bright fear. There’s only survival now.
I’m the daughter of a controlling and cruel billionaire, so I understand about power. But I find myself fighting anyway. I find myself testing them.
I have claws and I bite. I’m not going down without a fight.
Scout turns slightly from his skillet and smirks at me.
“Landry ran away from her prison tower and I gave her a place to run to.” My blood boils at his stupid answer.
“I thought I was meeting Ty. How did you manage this anyway?”
“Ty’s my new bestie,” Scout says with a shrug and goes back to cooking. I glower at his back.
“That’s not an answer. Was Ty in on this? Did he betray me, too?”
“Your sweet little Constantine was clueless,” Scout replies with a dark chuckle. “He doesn’t even know he’s been played.”
“You said last night that I was part of a job. What job?”
Sully approaches, palms up as though if he makes one wrong move, I might bite. I might. He better walk carefully. Wisely, he stops a couple feet away from me.
“We do jobs for our uncle,” Sully explains. “It’s stupid, but he gave us a place in his family when our mother went to prison.”
“I thought she died,” I choke out. “You guys led me to believe she died.”
“She may as well be dead. Winston Constantine made it so she’ll never leave that hellhole,” Sparrow growls.
“Why is she in prison?” I shake my head. “Forget it. I don’t care. I want to know howI tie into your fucked-up games and why I’m here.”
Sully sighs, taking another step toward me. I narrow my eyes, warning him from getting any closer. “There’s this ongoing war between the Morellis and the Constantines.”
If I would have just googled Ford Mann, I might have eventually discovered the truth. I was too afraid of Dad finding what I’d search out, and when I had the opportunity, I was more concerned with finding an escape from my father, not researching my boyfriend.
Boyfriend?
Dumb girl. You were played by three evil twats.
“The Morellis hate the Constantines. We, specifically, hate the Constantines. So, when our uncle asked us to meddle in your dad’s life, since Winston Constantine was planning to do some business with him, we jumped at the chance.”

A coming of age love story about a bad influence, sweet vengeance, and a whole lot of heart.
Millie
My father – the Earl of Amhearst – intends to marry me off to a man I can neither love nor tolerate. He invites potential suitors to the Marriage Games, a series of tasks to complete before one is declared the winner. The prize? Me. Trapped by circumstances, my only way out of this farce sees me walking into tattoo parlours and sex clubs, looking for a suitably tattooed man that my prejudiced father will hate on sight. Except, while the man I find will undoubtedly rile my father’s blood, forcing him to rethink his humiliating plans, the heavily inked, handsome bad boy I set my sights on makes my blood hot for entirely different reasons. He’s all I want in the entire world. Too bad he’s only my fake boyfriend.
Mal
Being propositioned by a gorgeous young woman wearing the shortest dress known to mankind was the last thing I expected tonight. But whatever the terms, I’m game. Enrage her up-tight father? Done. Be her pretend lover? Try and stop me. Wear a tux and attend a lavish party for the country’s elite? I’m there. A few days after I agree to her plea for help I find out who she really is – Lady Amelia Harrington-Scott, heiress to the indecently wealthy seat of Amhearst. But Millie doesn’t know that I met her father – a long time ago. That he tainted the only good thing I ever had in my life. That he embodies everything I hate about the peerage. He’s my enemy, which makes her my enemy, too. But I didn’t know our story would be so much more than revenge, Millie right at the heart of it. And I am blown away.
This is the second book in the Rags to Riches series. Although this is a standalone book, I strongly recommend that you read Marrying the Heiress first to avoid any spoilers and get maximum reader enjoyment. The characters featured in MTH will feature again here, their storyline extended within Loving the Bad Boy.
Mature content. Please refer to the foreword or Look Inside feature.
The visual of the man leaving the room hits me instantly, like a visceral call from every single tiny piece of me. I can only watch, my heart in my throat as the man exits, running a hand through his dark hair. He looks thoroughly worn out, like he’s had a good time in that private room, and it fills me with livid, hot jealousy.
Wearing dark grey jeans and black biker boots, a black T-shirt is balled up in his fist that showcases his heavily-inked torso. And it’s magnificent, leanly strong with dense, intriguing tattoos covering just about every inch of it. I’m too far away to distinguish many, but one dominates his back: an angel. The broad black wings are spread wide, the feathers edging over the curve of his biceps. He has full-length sleeves too, but because his head is slightly bowed, all I can see is a neat beard on a cut jawline. Chestnut-brown hair flops onto his forehead even when he stabs a hand through it again, his arm muscles rippling with the movement.
He is absolutely breathtaking.
My feet move before I have a chance to think it through, desperate to follow the gorgeous man who’s already disappearing towards the front door. He’s dragging the T-shirt back on his body, and even in the relative dark of the main room I can see his back muscles work, gleaming in some light from the TV screen. He has the physique of someone who works with their body on a daily basis. Who uses their strength to hone muscle and tighten abs. Who could show a woman a fucking good time.
I want to know what lucky bitch got to be with him, working up a delicious sweat. I want to torture myself with that image, wishing it were me. Because I don’t just want to proposition this man to help me out. To enrage my father and make him rethink his plans.
I want him. I want him so badly that my heart hurts.

Title: Hunt Her Author: Kelly Finley Series: Come for Me #2 Genre: Romantic Suspense
Is the hottest love worth a lethal life?
Charlie Ravenel wasn’t supposed to fall in love on the job, not with the Sexiest Man Alive. But her record of following rules is shot to hell. As a bodyguard and former Marine, she’s ruthless at protecting women. As one with dark secrets, she was safe until she fell for him.
But how could she resist? He’s wanted by millions… yet he only pursues her.
Daniel Pierce is a sexy, A-list celebrity—a dream on the screen and a beautiful beast in bed. When Charlie walked onto set, this alpha male met his match and his greatest love. And… he met danger.
What threatens them more? A stalker intent on revenge? Crazed paparazzi and fans for the alluring couple? A past Daniel can’t tell her about? Or a haunt Charlie fears?
If they can survive it all, there is such passion and love between them, and a surprise future they must protect.
There’s only one problem—everyone is hunting her now.
Ready for what? The hard cock urging between her cheeks or the bundle of lit dynamite she was about to throw on her life?
Fuck it. She’d do both.
His baritone British accent pressed into her, not asking about the meeting—the one in an hour that would have the world aiming for her. Adding another maddening predator, the press, hunting to claim her sanity. And her life.
No, he was asking for more of her. His brute body steamed against the length of her back under the rain from the shower above—hands caressing her wet cheeks, spreading them, gliding his eager lust between.
“Daniel Pierce, I don’t know how you’re ready again,” she said. They had just fucked an hour before.
No, that round on the bathroom vanity was making love, bringing tears to her eyes at his gasps of devotion. Because as of this morning… they were finally free.
Free to be together. Free to tell the world. Free to love.
And their ecstasy lasted that blissful, orgasmic moment
And their ecstasy lasted that blissful, orgasmic moment before it was shot away by a text ping beckoning her to check her phone charging on the hotel nightstand. While Daniel started their shower, her index finger touched the screen.
And summoned hell.
Now, she was thankful he couldn’t see her face. Lust and fear were smeared across it. A guise she wore daily since she was with him, loving him.
His fingers descended between her thighs, expertly strumming her closer. To pleasure. To the edge. To him.
“I’m ready for you and our life together, Charlie Ravenel.” The words hummed from his lips across her shoulder blade. Standing behind her, his truth was tempting. “It’s all I want. You. Us. Our love,” he said. “And no more hiding.”
She was never supposed to do this. Months before she was hired to protect Kierra Williams—a sixteen-year-old actor stalked on the set of the smash show The Druid. Char‐ lie’s mission was to keep the girl safe and to find out who was leaving notes, tormenting Kierra with haunting tactics.
But Charlie fucked up. And fucked the one man she shouldn’t.
Daniel Pierce. The lead actor on the show. The A-list celebrity with sixty million followers. The one with a panty- melting face. The one with a prole of masculine perfection only a bit more recognizable than his, I-don’t-care-if-my- dad-catches-me-fucking-him perfectly sculpted muscular frame. And don’t get anyone started on his amazing ass.
Their first fuck was an atom bomb of love dropped on her lonely life.
And now his hands wrapped around her, coaxing her, reminding every cell in her body this is where she belonged, even if it meant giving up everything to be with him. Not that she was the kind of woman who’d ever give up a damn thing for a man. Fuck that. Never.
She had no choice. Not after the last forty-eight hours.
She told herself: Nope. That’s bullshit, Charlie Girl. This whole gorgeous, hot mess started months back.
True. They were a secret until that famous shot connected the two of them.
That shot? That video?
It was the one when she, Daniel and Rob—her best friend and colleague—were at a gym in Madrid, Spain.
To the public eye, they were just friends. Friends who shared workouts and their work on The Druid, filmed at the massive studio nearby. Daniel was the famous face with constant cameras on him. She and Rob were his colleagues, cast security for the show.
All would have been peachy until a loud noise cracked the air like gunshots across the gym. Some guy had dropped his heavy bar, but the sudden sound dropped Charlie to her knees in a PTSD blackout, shooting her mind back six years to when she was a Marine. And was shot three times.
Witnesses in the gym recorded the spectacle with their phones—#danielpierce rescuing a woman passed out in his arms.
So yeah, that video? It struck fucking media gold. Because she was no average damsel in distress. Posts of the video went viral, revealing her distinct
scars. The bullet graze across her right cheek. The shot through her right shoulder. Hashtags, rumors, and comments started. Millions of them. And fans and press have been hunting for the blonde draped over Daniel Pierce’s arms ever since.
And now this.
A stand-off.
A lethal chess game with the sadistic stalker she caught trying to rape Kierra Williams. The stalker was none other than Kierra and Daniel’s co-star. The beautiful. The famous. The evil. Mason Hunt.

Mysterious and tragic, Madame Tan’s menagerie is the only home I’ve ever known. It’s a place where two worlds merge, a twilight zone between Earth and the magical Kingdom of Nerifir.
The menagerie is filled with fantastic animals, but I discover that Madame captures and displays sentient beings too.
One of them is locked in a crate day and night, not seen by anyone, and one day I learn why— looking at him kills. Even talking to Kyllen is forbidden, but I break that rule. I break many rules for him.
He wants his freedom and offers me a chance to escape Madame’s cruelties.
Little do I realize that with Kyllen, my heart is in an even greater danger than my life.
When a goddess gives you a task, you don’t say no.
Foster Ten years ago, one bad choice lost me my pack. Since then, I’ve been a rogue wolf, and I’m content to stay that way until the Moon Goddess shows up and tells me to find my mate.
One look at her and two things become very clear.
She’s no wolf and…she has no idea who I am.
Andie It’s not every day you find out you’re a witch mated to a wolf. To be fair, I was already beginning to question if magic might be real. I know, it sounds crazy—but what other explanation is there for this strange glowing light coming from my hands?
When a couple of witches attack me, I’m thrust into a life that was stolen. Erased.
Turns out there’s a lot more than magic that’s been waiting for me. All I have to do is take the chance and embrace it.
But can I give up everything I am for a coven and soulmate I never knew existed?
Seriously, what was wrong with me? I’d only met Foster an hour ago, if that. I’d had an appreciation for attractive men before, but never so openly. Maybe this was part of the bond I wasn’t certain I could feel, or maybe I was just losing my damn mind. Possibly both.
Foster’s hands hovered over my arms, his heat seeping through my long sleeves and straight to my core. “That wasn’t your fault. It’s just…your attraction to me, my wolf can sense it, and it’s a lot for us to handle.”
“‘Us’?” I questioned.
He moved closer to my ear, sending chills down my spine and speaking softly. “I consider my wolf a part of me. Sometimes it’s easier for me to refer to us as the same person. Sometimes not. He’s always been with me.”
I turned around to face him and found him much nearer than I’d expected. Our chests were practically touching, and I did my best to think about naked old ladies and not about how much I wanted to trail my fingers over his muscled body.

Cressa Langtry escaped an abusive home to live on her own terms. Now she’s known as Pandora, the best cat burglar and safecracker on the West Coast. Hounded by bounty hunters, one successful job would go a long way in clearing what she owes.
With an unfortunate twist of fate, Cressa’s debt is turned over to the city’s most notorious and ancient vampire – Devon Trelane. Complete one mission and she can leave the vampire world, and his home, free and clear.
Devon has lived a long life—many of them excommunicated from the Vampire Council. Though still a successful businessman, he can’t forgive the one vampire that cost him his seat on the Council.
Unrest builds between the vampires and shifters, discontent that could be avoided if the Council would see reason. One vampire stokes the fires of division, the one who forced Devon from the Council through lies and deception. The one person who holds the secrets that could return Devon to a seat of power and stop the war that threatens.
Luckily, a thief has fallen into Devon’s lap. A woman with the skills he requires to take down his greatest enemy.
There’s only one hitch—a simple business arrangement is complicated when their dreams collide and engulf them in passion.
“This particular job will put you in the heart of vampire society. High society. You’ll be mingling with the city’s most respected and most dangerous vampires. To fit in, you’ll need to have a particular look with discerning tastes. And you’ll need to eat what vampires eat.”
I sat back, the grease of my breakfast threatening to revolt.
He laughed. “I’m not asking you to drink blood wine. But I do expect you to eat nutritious, organic meals. Besides excellent hearing, we have a unique sense of smell.” He tapped his nose. “We can smell someone’s blood when they get close. We can tell its purity and the contents of their last meal. For example, if I were to meet with you in two hours, I’d know you had garlic and onion in your meal. It wouldn’t stop me from drinking your blood if I had a mind, but that very scent would tell another vampire that you probably don’t belong to anyone. I’m far too old to worry about having to drink very often, so I don’t keep humans in the house. But younger vampires require a drink more frequently. Even those a century old still keep humans close for feeding.” He shrugged. “They don’t need to; they just prefer the old ways.” He shook his head as if he found that disgusting. Perhaps just uncouth. Either way, it made me feel a little better. I shouldn’t have to worry about him sneaking into my room in the middle of the night looking for a sip. I reflexively rubbed my neck.
He glanced down when his phone vibrated. His jaw clenched, and he held his cup so tightly, I thought it would shatter. Not good news. After a couple long minutes, he took a deep breath and turned to me, returning to our conversation as if never reading his message.
“My point is, where we’ll be going, you’ll need to not only act the part but smell the part as well. Otherwise, no one will believe why you’re with me.”
He stood. “I’m afraid I have something to attend to. Anna will start your training this morning. I should be back this evening for our session. A couple of rules for your stay here. You have the freedom of the yard, garden, and anywhere in the house on the first and second floors. The third floor is completely off-limits. Any questions before I leave?”
I had a dozen, but it was obvious I wouldn’t have his full attention. And I preferred trying to get answers from Anna. “Just one.”
He tucked the phone in his pocket then gave me his undivided attention.
“What am I being trained for?”
He gave me a slow perusal, and this time, it was more heated. The desire to squirm returned. Then, he gave me that million-dollar smile. “To be my human lover, of course.”
